How to play
Squeaklands is a multiplayer browser game built around exploring, collecting, and tactical turn-based battles. You can play alone, meet rats in the world, or join forces when a fight needs more paws.
Make your rat
Create a free Squeaklands account, choose your rat, and enter the shared world. Your progress, items, skills, and cheese stay with that account.
Move and explore
Use WASD, the arrow keys, or point-and-click movement to cross each scene. Interact with characters and objects when the on-screen prompt appears.
Collect cheese and items
Gather cheese in the overworld and collect resources, quest items, equipment, cosmetics, and augments. Open your inventory to inspect what you have found.
Enter tactical battles
Choose a learned move, select a valid target or tile, and commit your turn. Positioning matters: movement, range, obstacles, enemy channels, status effects, and party roles can change the outcome.
Fight with other rats
Join an available battle from its overworld flag or form a party before exploring. Allies share the battlefield but keep control of their own turns.
Grow your build
Learn attack, defence, support, and classless moves. Equip augments for extra effects, improve eligible augments with resources, and arrange your action bar around the way you like to fight.
Trade and customise
Inspect another rat to use social actions, including friendly trades. Visit your character menu to change fur and equip the outfits you have collected.
Nothing to install
Squeaklands runs directly in a modern desktop or mobile browser. On supported phones, you can also add it to your Home Screen for a fullscreen game window.
